Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Oops, I Bought It Again ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of service

Oops, I Bought It Again is a household inventory application that helps you track items you own and avoid purchasing duplicates. The Service allows you to add, edit, search, and organize inventory items with categories, quantities, and storage locations.

The Service is a standalone web application that runs entirely in your browser. It does not require an account and does not use a backend server.

3. Your data

Your inventory data is stored locally in your browser using browser local storage. The Service does not transmit, store, or sync your data to any server. Because data is stored in your browser, clearing your browser data or site storage will permanently remove your inventory.

You are responsible for managing your browser data and understanding that clearing browser storage will remove your inventory with no way to recover it.

4. No accounts or authentication

The Service does not require account registration, login, or authentication. There are no user accounts, passwords, or user identifiers. Anyone with access to the application can use it freely.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to interfere with its operation. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial household use.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that your data will not be lost due to browser or device issues.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data stored in your browser.
